Photo Shoot at the Lake

We spent the last week of May at the lake and had a wonderful time together as a family as well as with my parents, my nephews, and visits from extended family members. These are some pictures I took of Addison on the pier one afternoon. I'll post some pictures of her swimming and enjoying the lake later.

9 Month pictures--June 2009

That's daddy's hand catching her as she crawled out of the chair. Pictures are not as easy as they used to be!

These pictures were taken of Addison this weekend. Hard to believe she is so big already. Where has the time gone. Addison is now:
--crawling!!!! She started really getting around well this past Monday.
--pulling up to stand
--moving from sitting, to standing, to crawling, back to sitting without any trouble
--teething--her first tooth broke through on Tuesday, 6/9/09
--chewing on everything and drooling like crazy due to the teething
--eating just about anything you put in front of her with the exception of avacado--she is feeding herself a variety of finger foods such as peas, carrots, squash, Cheerios, watermelon, wheat toast
--drinking from a sippy cup independently--she's only getting 1-2 bottles per day now
--saying "mama" (first time on 5/29/09) to call me
--babbling like crazy as well as laughing and screaming when she's happy
--playing peek-a-boo
--loves the water--baths, pools, and the lake too!

8 Months--May 2009

Chowing down on her bunny

These are Addison's 8 month pictures from May. We forgot to take her picture until she was already in her jammies, but she was still cute! Her jammies say "I Love My Daddy".

Hunting Easter Eggs

We had a busy Easter. We woke up and got dressed for pictures at home. Then it was off to church with Granna, Papaw, Aunt Tonya, Uncle Marshall, and Cousins Stephen and Christian. Then we raced home to change clothes and head to a family reunion on the family farm my grandfather grew up on outside Clanton. We enjoyed a picnic lunch with lots of family and then hunted Easter eggs (over 500 to be found) in the pine thicket. A real country Easter--and we loved it. You can't beat great family traditions!

7 Months--Catching Up! :-)

Sorry for the extended break from blogging. Late April and May are horrid months at work because there is so little time and so much to do. I'm enjoying the summer break with my sweet baby. Hope to keep up better this summer! I'm finally feeling like I have my feet back under me!
